Corrections at FuelCardInfo.com
How readers and providers can request corrections to FuelCardInfo.com fuel card profiles, guides and glossary pages.
How to Submit a Correction
Email [email protected] and include:
- Page URL — The address of the specific page with the issue.
- Field or section — The specific label or sentence that is incorrect or outdated.
- Current correct information — What the field should say.
- Public source — A link to a current provider page, official document or regulatory reference that supports the correction. Anonymous sources and unverifiable claims cannot be used to update source-backed fields.
What Happens After Submission
We review the submitted source against the current field value. If the submitted source is more current or more authoritative than the existing source, we update the field and replace the source reference. If the existing source still appears accurate, we may note the discrepancy and re-check the page at the next scheduled review. We do not publish correction logs publicly, but the updated page will reflect the revised information and last-checked date.
Types of Corrections We Accept
- Fee amounts or structures that have changed since our last check
- Network coverage that has expanded or contracted
- IFTA or reporting features that have been added, changed or removed
- Card control options that are no longer accurate
- Application or approval requirements that have changed
- Factual errors in guide explanations or glossary definitions
What We Do Not Change Based on Corrections
- Accurate information that a provider objects to for commercial reasons
- "Not clearly published" labels where a current public source still does not exist
- Editorial decisions about how information is described or organized
Provider Updates
Providers who want to notify us of program changes (new fees, new network locations, updated IFTA features) can send documentation to the same address. We review documentation against existing profile fields and update accordingly. Submissions that are marketing materials without specific fee, network or feature documentation are not used as sources for profile updates.
