• Billing cycle may appear in a pricing page, account agreement, statement line item or provider support article.
• It can be fixed, per-use, conditional or waived only when the account meets a stated rule.
• The cost matters most after it is converted into a monthly total and then into cents per gallon.

Example

A small fleet checking billing cycle should model the charge with its real monthly gallons and purchase count. A fee that looks minor on a sales page can matter when trucks fuel often in smaller amounts.

Common Mix-Up

Do not assume an unpublished billing cycle is zero. Treat missing fee language as a provider-confirmation item until the current schedule is in writing.

What to Check

• Confirm the cycle length, payment due date and late payment fee timing.
• Check whether the cycle aligns with freight payment or settlement schedules.
• Download transaction reports at cycle end to keep IFTA and cost records current.
